It's 2021 and Spring Has Sprung!

April 29, 2021

Allergies, allergies everywhereSpring 2021 looks a lot different than it did just a year ago: In 2020 we were hunkered down in our homes, wondering how the world was doing outside, and desperately searching for toilet paper.

It is hard to imagine the difference a year makes, and how much the pandemic has changed our lives. When we were bored and looking for things to do, many of us turned to cleaning out closets and the mountains of untouched clutter that we had stashed in our garage over the years. I, like many others, took the opportunity to work on my vegetable garden and try my hand at growing a few things I haven’t attempted before. The results were, let’s just say, less than optimal, but I learned a lot and this year my garden is thriving (so far — I see you eyeing my veggie starts, snails!)

Now that activities outside the house are opening up (and I am all vaxxed up) it’s time to start thinking about finally taking an actual trip somewhere. I was able to take several small trips since the pandemic started but they were usually to the lands of Costco, TJ Maxx, and occasionally Target. I saw many great things :)

For this first slideshow of 2021 we asked you to provide us a few photos of what springtime means to you or fun activities that you and your loved ones enjoy this time of year. Thanks as always to everyone for making this fun project come to life!
