Scheduled to be presented September 30 during the California Virtual Digital Government Summit, the annual Best of California Awards recognize state and local government and education organizations for their dedication, hard work and contributions in information technology.

CCC Data was developed by the CCC Technology Center as part of the Data Services Program grant from the CCC Chancellor's Office. CCC Data provides the infrastructure to aggregate data across disparate systems — such as CCCApply, CCC MyPath, and the Multiple Measures Placement Service — to a data warehouse, where it may be accessed and used to support institutional research and decision-making to benefit students and the system as a whole.

“[This award] shows our progress on what we have done for our system and technology innovation,” said Barney Gomez, Vice Chancellor of the Digital Innovation and Infrastructure Division, California Community Colleges. “Thank you all for the hard work done to get us to where we are with this effort. I’m very proud to be working with this [organization] and of the work that is getting done in support of the Vision for Success.”

Presented by Government Technology Magazine, the Best of California Awards are given in six categories. The “Best Application Serving an Agency’s Business Needs” recognizes individuals and teams that have designed, developed and deployed new applications or improved existing applications that assist the organization in handling its day-to-day operations. Entries are judged by a panel of top government IT officials from state agencies, local government, and higher education.

Congratulations, CCC Data team!
