CCC Data Warehouse Report Server in Use at 95 Colleges

November 19, 2020

Statistical analysis conceptSince releasing the Data Warehouse Report Server to College Researchers, 95 California community colleges have been provided access.

The Enabling Services team of the California Community Colleges Technology Center is continuing to reach out to the remaining colleges to provide credentials.

The Data Warehouse Report Server currently provides researchers with access to the full set of data from:

  • CCC Apply Standard Application
  • CCC Apply International Application
  • CCC Apply College Promise Application
  • Multiple Measures Placement Service (MMPS)

The CCC Data team is now working on the CCC Data 2.1 release, scheduled for January 2021. With this release the Data Warehouse Report Server will be expanded to support additional data sets for researcher access, including:

  • Chancellor’s Office Curriculum Inventory (COCI)
  • C-ID Course Identification Numbering System
  • CCC MyPath
  • Canvas (with colleges that opt to have their Canvas data supported in the Data Warehouse)

In addition to accessing these data through the Data Warehouse Report Server, researchers will be able to connect directly to the Data Warehouse. This functionality is currently in pilot testing with six colleges/districts, and is expected to be released as CCC Data 2.0 later this year. Following the 2.0 release, researchers at colleges or district offices may connect data from the Data Warehouse directly to their local business intelligence tools or local data warehouses.
